Toujeo (insulin glargine) is a long-acting insulin used to help control blood sugar levels in people with diabetes. It provides a steady, 24-hour release of insulin to help regulate blood sugar levels throughout the day and night. The Toujeo Doublestar and Solostar Prefilled Pens are designed for easy, convenient injection, offering precise dosing for optimal blood sugar control.

• Rotate injection sites to avoid skin irritation or lipodystrophy (fat tissue changes).

Usage Instructions:

• Attach a new needle to the prefilled pen before use.
• Prime the pen by dialing 1 or 2 units and pressing the button until insulin appears at the needle tip.
• Dial the correct dose as prescribed by your doctor.
• Inject subcutaneously in the abdomen, thigh, or upper arm, rotating sites each time.
• Do not reuse needles—dispose of used needles in a proper sharps container.

Storage Information:

• Unopened pens: Store in the refrigerator (2°C to 8°C); do not freeze.
• In-use pens: Store at room temperature (below 30°C) for up to 56 days.
• Keep away from direct heat and sunlight.
• Keep out of reach of children.

Common Side Effects:

• Low blood sugar (hypoglycemia): symptoms may include dizziness, sweating, or shakiness.
• Injection site reactions (redness, swelling, itching).
• Weight gain in some individuals.
• Mild headache or tiredness.
