Zeniquin is a veterinary antibiotic used to treat bacterial infections in dogs and cats. It contains marbofloxacin, a fluoroquinolone antibiotic that works by stopping the growth of bacteria. Zeniquin is commonly prescribed for infections of the skin, respiratory tract, urinary tract, and other soft tissues.

Dosage

Warnings and Precautions
- Not recommended for use in young puppies under 8 months (large breeds under 12 months) due to risk of joint problems

- Inform your veterinarian about any other medications or supplements your pet is taking
- Not suitable for animals allergic to fluoroquinolones
How to Use
- Administer tablets or oral suspension as directed by your veterinarian
- Ensure your pet completes the full course of treatment
- Do not stop treatment early, even if your pet appears better
- Contact your vet if your pet experiences side effects or if symptoms worsen
Storage
- Store tablets and oral suspension at room temperature (15–30°C or 59–86°F)
- Protect from moisture and light
- Keep out of reach of children and pets
Side Effects
- Common: vomiting, diarrhea, decreased appetite, lethargy
- Possible: dizziness, restlessness, mild joint discomfort
- Serious (contact your vet immediately): seizures, allergic reactions (swelling, rash, difficulty breathing), limping or joint pain in young animals
