Baytril is a prescription antibiotic commonly used in veterinary medicine to treat bacterial infections in dogs and cats. It contains enrofloxacin, a broad-spectrum fluoroquinolone that works by stopping the growth of bacteria. Baytril is used to treat infections of the skin, urinary tract, respiratory system, and digestive tract.

- Common: decreased appetite, vomiting, diarrhea, lethargy
- Other possible: dizziness, restlessness, or behavioral changes
- Serious (contact your vet): seizures, joint stiffness or limping in young dogs, signs of allergic reaction (swelling, hives, difficulty breathing)
