Buy Trulicity pens online with a valid prescription and compare current listed pricing, available pen strengths, and key safety basics before ordering. The Trulicity price you see should be checked against the selected strength, quantity, and any cash-pay or coverage path that applies to your order. Customers considering US delivery from Canada can also review handling notes for this refrigerated injection before checkout.

Trulicity is the brand name for dulaglutide, a once-weekly GLP-1 receptor agonist injection. Match the selected product to the strength and presentation written by your prescriber, especially if your current pen, label, or refill history lists a specific mg dose.

This page is designed for practical product decisions: compare the listed pen options, confirm order details, understand storage needs, and review safety points that may affect whether this treatment is appropriate to discuss with your clinician.

Trulicity Price and Available Options

Current listed pricing should be reviewed with the exact option selected on the product page. Different strengths, quantities, or pen listings may be priced separately, so compare the selected strength, the number of pens, and the total supply shown before checkout.

If you are comparing Trulicity without insurance, focus on the complete cash-pay amount for the selected option rather than a general retail estimate. A Trulicity cash price may differ from insured coverage, manufacturer programs, or local pharmacy pricing, and those routes may not use the same order path.

  • Selected strength: Check the mg strength shown on the listing.
  • Pen quantity: Compare the number of pens included.
  • Total supply: Match the listed quantity to the prescribed schedule.
  • Cash-pay route: Review the out-of-pocket amount before submitting.
  • Handling needs: Refrigerated products may require special packing.

Why it matters: A lower displayed amount is not useful if it is for the wrong strength, quantity, or presentation.

The GLP-1 Agonists collection can help compare related products in the same medication class when your prescriber has discussed more than one option.

How to Order Pens Online

Start by selecting the pen strength that matches your current prescription order. Keep the prescriber name, clinic contact, and product label available in case the order details need to be checked before processing.

Prescription details may be checked with your prescriber when needed. Supporting documents may also be requested for certain orders, especially when the selected strength or quantity does not clearly match the information provided at checkout.

For US shipping from Canada, review the product selection and handling information before submitting the order. Refrigerated medicines need more planning than room-temperature tablets, so confirm that the destination address and receiving plan are suitable for a temperature-sensitive injection.

Do not use online ordering to change your weekly dose, restart after a gap, or switch from another GLP-1 medicine on your own. Those decisions should be made with the clinician managing your diabetes care.

Pen Strengths and Product Details

Trulicity pens are single-patient injection devices used once weekly as directed. Product listings and pharmacy labels commonly identify the strength as a milligram amount in a 0.5 mL pen, so read both the number and the presentation carefully.

Listing detailCommon presentationWhat to match
Trulicity 0.75 mg pen0.75 mg per 0.5 mLStarter or prescribed lower-strength option
Trulicity 1.5 mg pen1.5 mg per 0.5 mLCommon maintenance-strength listing
Trulicity 3 mg pen3 mg per 0.5 mLHigher-strength prescribed option
Trulicity 4.5 mg pen4.5 mg per 0.5 mLHighest listed strength when prescribed

The mg strength is not the same as the number of pens in a box or the length of therapy. A prescription may refer to dulaglutide pens by brand name, generic name, weekly strength, and quantity, so all four details should line up.

Quick tip: Compare the strength on your current pen label with the strength selected online before checkout.

If you need help understanding prescribed weekly dosing language, the Trulicity Dosing Guide covers common label terms without replacing clinician instructions.

What This Medicine Is Used For

Dulaglutide is used with diet and exercise to help improve blood sugar control in adults with type 2 diabetes. It may also be used to reduce the risk of major cardiovascular events in adults with type 2 diabetes who have established cardiovascular disease or multiple cardiovascular risk factors.

This medicine is not insulin. It is not used to treat type 1 diabetes or diabetic ketoacidosis. People comparing diabetes treatments should confirm that the selected product matches the diagnosis and treatment plan documented by their clinician.

The Type 2 Diabetes product list can help you browse related diabetes categories, while this listing remains focused on Trulicity pens and ordering details.

Access, Cash Pay, and Monthly Planning

Many customers estimate a Trulicity monthly cost by looking at the number of weekly injections needed for a typical month. The actual amount to compare is the current listed amount for the selected strength and quantity, not a general national average.

When reviewing Trulicity cost, check whether the page shows one strength, multiple strengths, or separate pen quantities. If more than one option appears, compare the total amount for the prescribed supply instead of comparing only a single pen or single weekly dose.

Cash-pay access may be considered when insurance coverage is not being used. If coverage, reimbursement, or a benefits plan may apply, those details can change how you evaluate the final out-of-pocket amount, but they should not change the prescribed strength selected.

Customers searching for a dulaglutide price should also remember that brand-name supply, pen strength, and temperature-controlled handling can affect access. Do not assume that a quoted amount elsewhere reflects the same presentation or order conditions.

Storage, Handling, and Travel Basics

Trulicity pens should be stored in a refrigerator at 2°C to 8°C, or 36°F to 46°F. Keep pens in the original carton to protect them from light, and do not freeze them. A pen that has been frozen should not be used.

The manufacturer instructions allow room-temperature storage up to 30°C, or 86°F, for up to 14 days. This can be helpful for short trips, but it does not replace the normal refrigerated storage plan. Heat exposure, freezing, or damaged packaging should be taken seriously.

Handling-sensitive orders may use cold-chain shipping materials when needed. After arrival, move the pens to the refrigerator promptly, check that the package contents match the order, and review the product label before storing it with other diabetes supplies.

For travel, keep the pen away from direct heat and avoid placing it in checked luggage where temperatures may fluctuate. Carry the current pharmacy label or product information if you need to show that the injection is prescribed.

Safety Checks Before Ordering

Trulicity has a boxed warning about thyroid C-cell tumors observed in animal studies. It is contraindicated for people with a personal or family history of medullary thyroid carcinoma and for people with Multiple Endocrine Neoplasia syndrome type 2.

Common side effects can include nausea, diarrhea, vomiting, abdominal pain, decreased appetite, indigestion, and fatigue. These effects are often gastrointestinal, meaning they involve the stomach or intestines. Severe or persistent symptoms should be discussed with a healthcare professional.

Serious warnings include pancreatitis, severe stomach problems, acute kidney injury, gallbladder disease, serious allergic reactions, and low blood sugar when used with insulin or medicines that increase insulin release. Seek urgent medical help for symptoms such as trouble breathing, swelling of the face or throat, severe abdominal pain, or signs of dehydration.

Before ordering, tell your clinician if you have a history of pancreatitis, kidney problems, gallbladder disease, severe gastrointestinal disease, or diabetic eye disease. Also mention pregnancy, plans to become pregnant, or breastfeeding, because those situations may affect treatment decisions.

This safety review is not meant to decide whether you should start or stop therapy. It helps you recognize which medical history details should be raised before selecting a refill or new online order.

Interactions and Monitoring

Dulaglutide slows gastric emptying, which means food and some medicines may leave the stomach more slowly. This can matter for oral medicines that need predictable absorption, especially narrow-therapeutic-index drugs where small level changes may be important.

Low blood sugar is more likely when Trulicity is used with insulin or sulfonylureas. If your clinician has prescribed one of those combinations, follow the glucose monitoring plan they provided and keep fast-acting carbohydrate available as instructed.

Do not change injection timing, double a missed dose, or combine GLP-1 medicines unless your clinician directs you. Monitoring may include blood glucose trends, A1C, kidney function when clinically appropriate, and tolerance of gastrointestinal effects.

Report new severe abdominal pain, repeated vomiting, signs of dehydration, yellowing of the skin or eyes, or a lump or swelling in the neck. Those symptoms need clinical attention rather than product-page troubleshooting.

Compare With Related Options

Prescribers may discuss other injectable or non-insulin diabetes medicines when Trulicity is not suitable, tolerated, or available in the needed presentation. Comparisons should focus on active ingredient, dosing schedule, device type, storage, safety profile, and the condition being treated.

Victoza Pens contain liraglutide, another GLP-1 receptor agonist with a different dosing schedule. Mounjaro KwikPen contains tirzepatide, which acts on GIP and GLP-1 receptors and is not the same drug as dulaglutide.

The Trulicity vs Victoza comparison can help frame questions about device format, dosing frequency, and class differences before speaking with your clinician. Do not switch between products based only on online availability or cost.

Authoritative Sources and Product Checks

Before completing an order, compare the product page and your current label with official prescribing information, the patient instructions for use, and any directions from your diabetes care team. These sources are the best place to confirm contraindications, injection technique, storage rules, and known safety warnings.

  • Prescribing information: Confirms indications, boxed warnings, interactions, and adverse reactions.
  • Instructions for use: Explains pen handling, injection steps, and disposal basics.
  • Current product label: Confirms your name, strength, quantity, and directions.

Bring any mismatch in strength, quantity, or directions to your prescriber or pharmacist before using a new supply. Product selection should support the treatment plan already in place, not replace it.

Great service at a good price

Never had an issue with Canadian Insulin. The product arrives on time, undamaged, in an insulated cold container which protects the insulin from harm. Their prices are reasonable considering that drugs are outrageously price nowadays. Definitely would, and have, recommended to friends and family because they offer well priced products and have exception service. The people are friendly and know the products. They even call every few months to ensure that you have enough medication. I've been extremely satisfied with the price and service of everything I've bought from Canadian Insulin.
