Janumet is a prescription medication used to manage blood sugar levels in adults with type 2 diabetes. It combines two active ingredients, sitagliptin and metformin, to provide dual action. Sitagliptin helps regulate insulin levels after meals, while metformin reduces glucose production in the liver and improves insulin sensitivity. Warnings and Precautions:

• Not suitable for individuals with type 1 diabetes or diabetic ketoacidosis

• May cause a rare but serious condition called lactic acidosis due to metformin. Symptoms include muscle pain, fatigue, and shortness of breath

Storage Information:

Common Side Effects:
