Buy Januvia tablets online with a valid prescription and compare current listed pricing, available strengths, and key safety basics before checkout. This page supports people looking at Januvia 100 mg, 50 mg, or 25 mg tablets, including those comparing US delivery from Canada, and helps you match the selected option to your prescribed sitagliptin strength. You can review price factors, form details, storage needs, and important warnings without leaving the product selection flow.

Januvia 100 mg Price and Available Options

The current listed price should be read together with the selected strength, tablet count, and quantity. The Januvia 100 mg price may differ from 50 mg or 25 mg listings, even when the product name looks similar. Check the total number of tablets in the selected option, then compare that against the strength and supply written on your prescription.

If you are comparing Januvia without insurance, review the cash-pay amount shown for the exact product option rather than estimating from another strength. The Januvia cost shown at product selection may not include separate checkout or shipping charges if those appear later. Avoid comparing a single strength to a different pack size, because the final value depends on both the tablet strength and the number of tablets supplied.

Quick tip: Match the strength on the bottle label or prescription before using the quantity selector.

Tablet strengthWhat to checkWhy it matters
25 mg tabletsConfirm the exact prescribed strength.Lower-strength tablets may be used when a clinician selects a reduced dose.
50 mg tabletsCompare the tablet count and label directions. The strength may be selected for specific clinical reasons, including kidney function.
100 mg tabletsCheck that the listing matches the prescription. This is a commonly referenced adult strength on labeling, but it is not right for everyone.

How to Buy Januvia Online

Choose the tablet strength and quantity that match your prescription, then review the checkout details before placing the order. This is a prescription-only medicine, so a valid prescription is required before dispensing. Keep your prescriber information available, especially if the order details need to be matched against the medication, strength, or quantity selected.

Prescription details may be confirmed with your prescriber when needed, and supporting documents may be requested if information is incomplete. That check helps align the selected product with the treatment your clinician ordered. It also reduces the chance of ordering a strength or tablet count that does not match your current directions.

Before checkout, confirm whether the listing is for brand tablets or another sitagliptin product shown separately. Sitagliptin is the active ingredient in Januvia, but combination products and different brands are not automatically interchangeable. If your prescriber wrote a specific product name, match that wording carefully instead of choosing by price alone.

Tablet Strengths and Product Details

Januvia tablets contain sitagliptin, a dipeptidyl peptidase-4 inhibitor, often shortened to DPP-4 inhibitor. A DPP-4 inhibitor helps support the body’s own incretin hormone activity, which can increase insulin release after meals and reduce glucose production by the liver. Glucose means blood sugar, and the medicine is used as part of a broader type 2 diabetes plan.

The product is supplied as oral film-coated tablets in 25 mg, 50 mg, and 100 mg strengths. These are tablets, not insulin, pens, cartridges, or injections. If your prescription says Januvia 100 mg tablets, select that strength rather than changing to a lower or higher option without clinician direction.

Strength selection matters because kidney function can affect how sitagliptin is prescribed. Some people may be prescribed a reduced strength when their estimated glomerular filtration rate, or eGFR, is lower. The product page can help compare available options, but it cannot determine which dose is appropriate for you.

  • Form: oral film-coated tablet.
  • Active ingredient: sitagliptin.
  • Strengths: 25 mg, 50 mg, and 100 mg.
  • Use pattern: taken as directed by the prescriber.
  • Food: labeling allows use with or without food.

Why it matters: Different tablet counts are not equivalent just because the strength matches.

How This Medicine Fits Type 2 Diabetes Care

Januvia is used with diet and exercise to improve glycemic control in adults with type 2 diabetes. It is not used to treat type 1 diabetes or diabetic ketoacidosis, a serious high-ketone emergency. The medicine works best when it fits the full plan set by your clinician, including meals, activity, glucose monitoring, and any other prescribed therapies.

It may be prescribed alone or with other diabetes medicines, such as metformin, when a clinician chooses a combination approach. Combination therapy can target blood sugar in different ways, but the right regimen depends on kidney function, other medical conditions, side effect risks, and current lab results. Do not use product comparisons to change your diabetes medicines on your own.

The Diabetes Medications collection can help you compare product categories, while the Type 2 Diabetes collection lists relevant treatment options on the site. These links are useful for browsing, but your prescription should guide the product you select.

Storage, Handling, and Travel Basics

Januvia tablets are stored at room temperature. Labeling commonly lists 20°C to 25°C, or 68°F to 77°F, with allowable short excursions under the conditions described in the official product information. Keep the tablets away from excess moisture, heat, and direct sunlight, and do not store them in a bathroom cabinet where humidity can build.

Because this is an oral tablet, it does not require refrigerated cold-chain handling like insulin or some injectable diabetes medicines. That makes storage simpler, but it still requires basic care. Keep the product in its labeled container until use, and avoid mixing tablets from different bottles or strengths.

For travel, keep the medication with you in its original labeled container and protect it from extreme temperatures. If you use several diabetes medicines, separate them clearly so the tablet strength is easy to identify. A current medication list can also help if you need care while away from home.

Safety Checks Before Checkout

Review key safety information before ordering, especially if your health history has changed since your last prescription. Tell your clinician about kidney disease, pancreatitis, gallbladder problems, high triglycerides, heavy alcohol use, or any serious allergic reaction to sitagliptin. These details can affect whether the medicine remains appropriate.

Common side effects may include upper respiratory symptoms, stuffy or runny nose, sore throat, and headache. Some people may also report stomach discomfort or other symptoms. Mild effects should still be tracked, because patterns can help your healthcare professional decide whether monitoring or a treatment change is needed.

Serious reactions are uncommon but important. Stop and seek urgent medical help for symptoms of a severe allergic reaction, such as swelling of the face, lips, tongue, or throat, trouble breathing, widespread rash, or blistering skin. Severe and persistent abdominal pain, especially pain that may move to the back, can be a warning sign of pancreatitis and needs prompt medical attention.

  • Low blood sugar: risk may rise with insulin or sulfonylureas.
  • Kidney function: lab results may affect the selected strength.
  • Skin reactions: blisters or peeling need urgent review.
  • Joint pain: severe pain has been reported with DPP-4 inhibitors.
  • Allergy history: prior serious reaction is a key warning.

Hypoglycemia, or low blood sugar, is less common when sitagliptin is used alone. The risk can increase when it is combined with insulin or a sulfonylurea. If you use those medicines, ask your clinician what symptoms to watch for and how to respond if your glucose reading is low.

Interactions and Monitoring

Drug interaction concerns are not the same for every diabetes medicine, so provide a complete medication list to your healthcare professional. Include prescription medicines, over-the-counter products, supplements, and any diabetes injections or tablets. Digoxin, insulin, and sulfonylureas are examples of medicines your clinician may want to consider when reviewing your regimen.

Kidney monitoring is especially relevant for sitagliptin tablets. Clinicians may review serum creatinine and eGFR before or during treatment, because reduced kidney function can change the recommended strength. This is one reason the product selector should not be used to self-adjust between 25 mg, 50 mg, and 100 mg options.

Home glucose records can help you and your clinician see whether the overall diabetes plan is working as intended. The Blood Sugar Normal Range Chart can help explain common terms used in glucose tracking. Use your own target range from your care team, not a general chart, when making day-to-day decisions.

  • Kidney tests: ask how often they are needed.
  • Low readings: review your response plan.
  • Missed doses: ask what directions apply to you.
  • Combination therapy: confirm which medicines stay unchanged.

Compare Related Diabetes Options

Januvia is an oral DPP-4 inhibitor. It differs from insulin products, SGLT2 inhibitors, GLP-1 medicines, and metformin because each class affects blood sugar through different pathways. If your prescription changes, compare the active ingredient, form, strength, dosing schedule, storage needs, and safety cautions before selecting a new listing.

Metformin is a commonly prescribed oral diabetes medicine, but it is not the same drug class as sitagliptin. Janumet XR is a combination product that includes sitagliptin and extended-release metformin. It should not be substituted for a single-ingredient tablet unless your clinician prescribed that exact product.

The Oral Diabetes Medications resource is useful when you want a class-level comparison of tablet treatments. For this product page, the most important decision is narrower: match the selected tablet to the name, strength, and quantity on your current prescription.

    New to Januvia

I started taking Januvia after trying other medications which upset my stomach or gave me low blood sugar. Within 2 weeks I got past the very slight stomach upset and have had no problems taking this medication.
