Duloxetine is a prescription medication classified as a serotonin-norepinephrine reuptake inhibitor (SNRI). It is commonly used to treat major depressive disorder, generalized anxiety disorder, fibromyalgia, and chronic pain associated with diabetic neuropathy or musculoskeletal conditions.

Warnings and Precautions:

  • Not suitable for individuals with uncontrolled glaucoma or severe liver or kidney disease.
  • Use with caution in people with a history of seizures, bipolar disorder, or bleeding problems.
  • Avoid using Duloxetine with monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs) or within 14 days of discontinuing an MAOI.
  • Alcohol consumption should be minimized to prevent liver damage.

Usage Instructions:

  • Take Duloxetine as prescribed by your healthcare provider.
  • Swallow the capsule whole; do not crush, chew, or open it.
  • Can be taken with or without food.
  • Do not abruptly stop the medication without medical guidance, as withdrawal symptoms may occur.

Storage Information:

  • Store at room temperature (20–25°C or 68–77°F).
  • Keep the medication in its original container, away from moisture and heat.
  • Ensure it is stored securely and out of reach of children.

  • Drowsiness or fatigue.
  • Increased sweating.
  • Decreased appetite or weight changes.
  • Mild dizziness or difficulty concentrating.
