Uses of Nasonex Aqueous Nasal Spray
Containing a compound called mometasone–furoate–monohydrate, Nasonex Aqueous Nasal Spray is a type of spray that is known for its anti-inflammatory properties. Since the nose is vulnerable to blockage, this spray helps in easing that discomfort and even alleviates symptoms of allergy. It reduces episodes of runny nose, nasal congestion, and inflammation.
Precautions and Warnings
You will not be prescribed with Nasonex Aqueous Nasal Spray if you have the following:
- Heart problems
- Wheezing episodes
- Blocked chest
- Shortness of breath
Additionally, if you are allergic to mometasone-furoate-monohydrate, your doctor will not prescribe this product to prevent other health complications from appearing.
Dosage
Before spraying this product, observe if the insoluble suspension has been separated from the solution. If it does, shake the bottle first. Once you are ready, spray the applicator on both nostrils. You can choose where to start, either on your left or right nostrils.
Your symptoms will likely improve in the span of two weeks. However, if you don’t see any improvement, report this to your doctor immediately.
