Common Side Effects

Severe Side Effects

  • Difficulty swallowing
  • Dizziness
  • Fast heartbeat
  • Hives
  • Skin rashes
  • Chest tightness
  • Difficulty breathing
  • Tiredness
  • Weakness
  • Dark urine
  • Jaundice (yellowing of the eyes and skin)
  • Pale skin
  • Unusual bleeding or bruising
  • Sore throat
  • Mouth sores
  • Confusion
  • Slurred speech
  • Recurrent vomiting
  • Fever or chills

Rare Side Effects

These are adverse reactions that rarely happen. In 10 individuals, only 1 or 2 may experience these side effects. These are as follows:

  • Abdominal pain
  • Chills
  • Dark urine
  • Clay-colored stools
  • Diarrhea
  • Fever
  • Headache
  • Light-colored stools
  • Loss of appetite
  • Nausea
  • Vomiting
  • Bad breath
  • Stomach pain
  • Vomiting of blood
  • Bleeding gums
  • Coma
  • Depression
  • Anxiety
  • Nosebleeds
  • Lethargy
  • Irritability
