Jentadueto Side Effects

A patient on Jentadueto is at risk of its side effects which may be serious or mild. The negative effects listed here may not be experienced by all the patients on the drug. Most of the unwanted effects are manageable and clear without medical help over time.

The common side effects include:

  • Bloating
  • Diarrhea
  • Gas
  • Headache
  • Heartburn
  • Metallic taste in the mouth
  • Mouth ulcers
  • Nausea
  • Runny nose
  • Sore throat
  • Stuffy nose

If the just listed negative effects become irritating, contact the health practitioner for some tips to manage them. Nevertheless, some undesired effects need medical help right away and include:

  • Symptoms of anemia or low red blood cells for example pale skin, dizziness, unusual tiredness and shortness of breath
  • Symptoms of infection like fever or chills,  shortness of breath, severe diarrhea, prolonged dizziness, headache, stiff neck, or weight loss
  • Symptoms of pancreatitis such as abdominal pain, back pain, nausea, fever, chills, rapid heartbeat and swollen stomach
  • Symptoms of low blood sugar

For the following severe side effects, stop taking Jentadueto and seek medical attention right away:

  • Symptoms of lactic acidosisfor example nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, increased breathing rate, unusual muscle pain, dizziness, unusual tiredness, irregular heartbeat
  • Symptoms of severe allergic reaction such as abdominal cramps, difficulty breathing, nausea and vomiting, swelling of the face and throat
  • Symptoms of serious skin reaction like blistering, peeling, a rash affecting a large area of the body, a rash which spreads quickly, or a rash accompanied with fever or discomfort
