Use of Hyzaar DS

Hyzaar DS is a medication prescribed to manage hypertension, commonly known as high blood pressure. It combines two active ingredients, losartan potassium and hydrochlorothiazide, to effectively lower blood pressure and reduce the risk of cardiovascular complications associated with hypertension.

Hydrochlorothiazide, a thiazide diuretic, increases urine production, leading to the elimination of excess sodium and water from the body, further aiding in blood pressure reduction.
