Trulicity Dosage

The recommended dose for individuals starting treatment with Trulicity is 0.75 mg injected (subcutaneously) under the skin in the arm, thigh, or abdomen once a week, preferably on the same time and day per week.

This dose may be increased in 1.5mg increments to facilitate better glycemic control, provided that patients remain on a 3mg weekly dosing for at least four weeks before increasing it to 4.5mg a week.

The 4.5mg dose once a week is the maximum dose a patient should be prescribed for with Trulicity.
