All the medications used can lead to side effects. At least one percent of the patients taking Janumet will experience negative effects.

The following are the common side effects

  • Indigestion
  • Loss of strength
  • Muscle aches
  • Passing gas
  • Sore throat

As for the severe side effects, medical intervention should be sought right away, although they rarely occur, they can prompt serious complications.

  • Blurred vision
  • Unusual tiredness
  • Slurred speech
  • Nightmares
